Wouldnt it be nice to have a nice clean spam and virus free inbox. Well, luckily I am spam free at the moment! YAY. But not virus free at the moment, MyDoom keeps getting sent to my account :-( Here is an example of what i received today.

Dear user of mrblack.co.uk,

We have received reports that your email account was used to send a large amount of spam messages during this week.
Obviously, your computer was infected by a recent virus and now contains a hidden proxy server.

Please follow the instructions in the attached text file in order to keep your computer safe.

mrblack.co.uk user support team.

As you can see, this is spoffed in that it has come from the mrBlack.co.uk user support team. Now unless I hired somebody, or my dog has decided to offer me his technical skills, I do not have a support team. After this message is of cause the usual .zip file with the executable which contains the nasty code. So, you may ask yourself, in this day and age who is sending me this? Well I know there IP address, and that they are using BT openworld dail up, any ideas?

ADSL was plumbed in yesterday by my own fair hand, all is well and speedy. Finally i dont have people nagging at me to get off the phone line, and finally i can make the most of the interwebanet. In other news, thanks to all the people who sent me cards for my 21st, that was really nice. If you forgot, ah well fuck you buddy see if I care :) I enjoyed a nice few drinks and was very merry thanks to Rachel, and her mad concoctions. Also for those interested i received a bursary of £500 from University for the masters next year, all is well, all is good, and you all smell off poo.
