Comical BBC Report from the 30s
As the Queen (Liz 2) conducts her review of the Naval Fleet marking the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar the BBC Radio 4 Today program has put online a little snippet of radio commentary from a similar event in the 1930s. The clip is of a 1937 naval review by a drunk Lt Cmdr Tommy Woodroffe on HMS Nelson. So funny.
